The official DC Felabration returns this year with our own tricked out version of Kalakuta and The Shrine. We are taking over a converted space and making it our own as we celebrate the one and only Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. Spinning a Fela-centered and inspired set all night long our dj line up includes:

JAHSONIC(The Main Ingredient + AxelF)
DJ STYLUS (AxelF + The Sol Power All-Stars)
w/ live music by TOSIN ARIBISALA

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, this is a 21+ event. Everyone will be required to show state-issued ID or passport to enter the event.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The venue is located in a shopping plaza, so free parking and stree parking are available. The venue is also accessible from the metro station via footbridge. Uber and Lyft services are also easy options.

Are you looking for vendors?
Yes, we are! African-centered and inspired wares are welcome. Click here to submit a vendor inquiry and a member of the team will get back to you in 2-3 business days, if you are selected.

Are you painting faces on site?
No, but a style guide with suggestions will be available after Wednesday, September 20th.
